If you like your oversized XL watches to have a clean, uncluttered design (like me), then the Maurice de Mauriac Automatic Modern XL 3.05 needs looking at. With a 44mm face and the cleanest of design, its a masterpiece.
Steel case, open case back, anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass, you can get some options on top on the basic ~$1600, such PVD Black case/bracelet at $420.
